The device identifier is sent to IMEI.info to obtain the report. Results depend on the provider's records and may be incomplete or change over time. An unavailable or unknown result does not mean a device is unlocked or Find My is OFF.
If the provider returns a definitive error, the reserved credit is returned. If a response is uncertain or still processing, credit may remain reserved while the existing request is reconciled. Use Refresh existing report instead of starting the same check again.
