DEVICE CHECK
iPhone carrier, lock status and FMI check

iPhone IMEI lookup or Apple serial number check?
Use an iPhone IMEI lookup when you have the 15-digit device identifier. Choose the separate Apple serial number check when you have the serial instead. Both options request a Carrier & Lock Status & FMI report; available country, carrier and device fields depend on the provider’s response.
Choose the identifier you actually have
The IMEI option requires a valid 15-digit IMEI. The serial-number option uses the Apple serial number, which can include letters and digits. These identifiers are different; do not pad a serial number with zeroes or enter an IMEI in the serial field.
What information can the report contain?
The provider may return carrier and lock information, device details and Find My fields. The available fields depend on the device and provider response. We display returned information rather than invent missing values. An absent field does not mean unlocked, clean or OFF.
A completed serial-number report has returned an iCloud status field in our integration. This does not guarantee that every device report will include a Clean/Lost classification.
What this check cannot do
This is an information service. It does not remove Activation Lock, change a carrier lock, erase an unpaid balance or prove legal ownership. For the differences, read Activation Lock versus SIM lock. For reported lost/stolen information, see the separate IMEI blacklist check.
Before you submit
Match the identifier to the phone in front of you, not just a listing or box. Our IMEI and serial number guide explains where to look. Review the selected service and price before confirming.
